My experience in public relations and journalism trained me to constantly be hunting for what is happening not only in culture, but also the subcultures that exist within it. From finding myself in rabbit holes on TikTok to reading tech news every morning, timeliness inspires my strategic choices.
Collaborative
Amazing work is born when a team dynamic is centered on collaboration amoung all members. I prioritize collaboration with creatives, client services, marketing sciences, and strategists to bring ideas to life.
Dive in with Seaside
Created and co-hosted a podcast in 2021 for Seaside Sustainability, a coastal restoration nonprofit. Each episode highlighted a different project the nonprofit was doing to help the ocean. Seaside Sustainability continues to use the podcast today.

After two months studying Generation Alpha, Laine crafted a creative brief for an in-depth report that was shared with marketing professionals to help prepare them to engage with this emerging generation.
